To-Dos:
How system-generated To-Dos surface Follow-Ups, Calls, and Appointments so nothing falls through the cracks between status updates and daily execution.
Purpose:
A To-Do is a system-generated task that surfaces automatically based on a Contact's activity or an action the user has already taken. To-Dos exist to make sure nothing falls through the cracks between status updates and daily execution.
Types of To-Dos:
| Type | Surfaces When |
| Follow-Ups | An appointment has passed but its status hasn't been updated within 24 to 48 hours of the scheduled time. |
| Calls | The user clicks Schedule Call on a lead and selects a date and time. |
| Appointments | Any scheduled meeting, so it appears as an actionable item rather than something the user has to cross-reference separately. |

Quick Recap: To-Dos Guide
- To-Dos are generated automatically; users don't create them directly.
- Follow-Ups catch appointments left un-updated 24 to 48 hours past their scheduled time.
- Calls come from Schedule Call; Appointments come from any scheduled meeting.
- Check To-Dos regularly to keep every Contact's status current.
